YOUR CALENDAR STAYS YOURS

Only what you add is shared.

Calendara doesn't read your Google or Apple calendar unless you connect it, and for co-parenting you don't need to. Add the kids' things, and that's what the other parent sees.

Want to keep an appointment's details to yourself? Mark it Private. The other parent sees a Busy block at that time, without the title, notes or place.

SET IT UP IN 4 STEPS

One family for the kids, set up once.

1

One parent sets it up

Add the kids. When Calendara offers to connect a calendar, tap “Start fresh”.

2

Invite the other parent

Send the invite by link, QR code or email.

3

They join on their iPhone

When asked to bring their calendar along, they tap “Skip for now”.

4

Add the kids' schedules

Take a photo or add events yourself. Both of you add and update; open the app and you both see the latest plan.

FAQ

Questions co-parents ask

Calendara doesn't read your Google or Apple calendar unless you connect it, and for co-parenting you don't need to. If you don't connect one, only what you add in Calendara is shared.

Yes. Mark it Private. The other parent sees a Busy block at that time with your name, without the title, notes or place.

An iPhone. Calendara is an iPhone app, and both parents need an iPhone to use it together. A co-parent on Android can get a view-only link to one calendar (like “Kids”) to add to Google Calendar. They can see it but not add to it, and Google refreshes it on its own schedule.

One subscription covers both parents: a 7-day free preview, then $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr. If no one subscribes, the app locks for both of you.

It depends on their role. A Member can't change your events or the kids' profiles. An Admin can edit or delete events that aren't Private, manage the kids, and remove members, including you.

Yes. For Google Calendar, tap Disconnect. For Apple Calendar, tap Disconnect, then Delete Events.

What Calendara isn't

It isn't a custody-schedule builder, a messaging log, an expense tracker or a tool for court records. It's a calm, shared calendar for the kids' plans.
